It's that time of year again and I know that a lot of you out there are saying this exact phrase. So to that I say..YAY!!!! There is NOTHING better than taking control of your life again. Taking control of your health and learning to fuel your body not just feed it!!!  Here is a small piece of advice from a lady who has gone through this journey and continues on it each and every day? DO NOT go on a DIET! You don't need a diet, you don't want a diet. What do you want? You want a way to make better and healthier changes to your life. By following a super strict no carb or no fat diet you will deprive yourself of too much, too fast. You will do great for awhile but eventually you may fall back into old habits. What you need to do is CHANGE THOSE HABITS!!! Education on food nutrients is KEY, as well as exercise. Calories in vs calories out will work but you should really focus on learning the RIGHT calories to eat for long term success. If you're in the area please stop in and we can chat.
